My Practice

  Welcome to my office. I look forward to assisting you in meeting your legal needs. I am currently licensed in both Washington and Oregon; however, I am only taking clients who live in Washington. My areas of practice are general civil litigation, which includes both plaintiff and respondent representation in civil court (as opposed to criminal court), neighbor disputes, and complex civil litigation cases. I also draft contracts, wills, and other legal documents, such as partnership and operating agreements. I have experience representing businesses in both transactional law as well as litigation. I served as City Attorney in Aurora, Oregon, so I am familiar municipal and administrative law. I do not represent clients in criminal court or family law.

My foundational belief as a lawyer is that helping normal people meet their legal needs is paramount without “nickel and diming” them while providing outstanding, sophisticated, and zealous legal services. I enjoy the cases with odd facts, odd parties, and coming to creative solutions for their odd problems. No issue should be thought of as “too small” for a lawyer.  I have enjoyed many successes representing my clients. I have prevailed over Ford Motor Company, won sizable money awards for marijuana businesses, successfully represented small businesses in court, and helped dozens of clients settle frustrating property line disputes, neighbor disputes, and financial conflicts between family members. I have drafted countless wills and other estate planning documents and "bulletproof" contracts. I have also completed intense training for mediators.
